About ColdQuanta

One Company Could Own the Quantum Product Spectrum

“ColdQuanta has an established quantum technology that can be widely applicable across the quantum spaces: from positioning and telemetry systems all the way to quantum computers…the body of work and core technology gives ColdQuanta vast reach and a deep patent portfolio to own a big share of government quantum work at the edge device level up to large systems.” –The Next Platform

ColdQuanta leads the market in commercializing quantum technology.

Backed by years of research and development, ColdQuanta has developed deep expertise and intellectual property in the breakthrough quantum method of cold atoms.

Cold Atom

When atoms are cooled to a few millionths of a degree above absolute zero, they take on quantum properties. Lasers are used to arrange the atoms, hold them in place, run computations on them, and read out the results. Quantum calculations, communications, and sensing are the result.

Pioneering Minds

Satyendra Bose and Albert Einstein discovered the fifth form of matter—the Bose-Einstein Condensate (BEC). Dr. Eric Cornell and Dr. Carl Wieman won a Nobel Prize for creating the first BEC in a collaboration between CU Boulder and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Their colleague, Dr. Dana Z. Anderson, co-founded ColdQuanta, which uses the fifth form of matter as the foundation for its Cold Atom Quantum Technology.

Quantum Everything

Just like the Internet, Quantum will be pervasive across all connected and computational devices. Autonomous vehicles, spacecraft, robotics, augmented reality, biopharma, and the environment are among the broad spectrum of capabilities that will be dramatically improved.

ColdQuanta is uniquely positioned to drive the quantum revolution because the cold-atom modality scales predictably and cost effectively based on an engineering roadmap, not on further scientific discoveries.
