Product Description
Product Description
The Double MOT system is a self-contained, tabletop, ultrahigh vacuum system designed to enable the easy production of cold matter for R&D and educational applications. The system can be used for a wide variety of projects, ranging from basic research in quantum physics to the development of sensors and new technologies that are based on cold atoms. The Double MOT utilizes two chambers, a lower one to achieve high atom number, and an upper one to maintain an ultra-high vacuum. The Double MOT system is shipped permanently under vacuum and ready to be placed into an appropriate apparatus such as the Physics Station or Physics Platform.
